Eliwell at REFRIGERA 2021: solutions designed for applications of all sizes
Our new package solutions – for clients ranging from small retail businesses, refrigerated warehouses and convenience stores to supermarkets – featured at REFRIGERA 2021, alongside digital tools designed for 360° customer support
The second edition of REFRIGERA – the event for the refrigeration supply chain, bringing together refrigerator manufacturers, engineers, technicians, installers and maintainers – is now over. This year’s edition focused on new technologies and recent market development trends now being implemented in the industry. Three days packed with events and seminars, ranging from new frontiers in refrigerated transportation and connected solutions to store food and drugs, to issues related to the new skill requirements for cold chain managers. A new refrigeration with sustainability and energy efficiency at its centre.
The various meetings and exchanges between professionals included the round-table discussion entitled “The recovery: refrigeration engineering 4.0”, focusing on new digital technologies for the cold chain. Eliwell also featured strongly in the discussion, with contributions aimed at explaining the opportunities of digital for specialists and end users in this sector.
In line with these trends, Eliwell unveiled a portfolio of connected, efficient and sustainable digital solutions and services, to meet the needs of applications of all sizes, as well as a full range of digital tools.
Small retail businesses
Small retail businesses – butchers, bakeries, coffee bars and more, using systems with high-efficiency plug-in refrigerators – require solutions that are easy to install, are compatible with the new natural refrigerants and comply with HACCP regulations.
The HACCP module provides for automatic monitoring, made possible by connecting the IDNext or new Coldface EWRC 300, 500 or 5000 controllers. It also records data and makes them available via the Eliwell AIR app.
Refrigerated warehouses and retailers
Small or medium-sized systems need solutions that are easy to install, monitor and maintain. Eliwell offers the DOMINO ZERO solution with complete KDX 5000 panel, compatible with both the PXV and third-party valves.

Supermarkets
Our solutions for medium- and large-scale applications are compatible with all refrigerants. The offer includes the RTX and KDX 500 devices to control leaks of refrigerants compatible with CO2, as well as Eliwell-branded and third-party valves and EWSense wireless sensors.
This solution offers savings on energy consumption of up to 25%.

For manufacturers, Eliwell unveiled at Refrigera the next-generation EWNext controller with Bluetooth connectivity, customisable display depending on the application, access to cloud data and geolocation services.
